One day, she felt very sleepy. She found a sturdy twig and wrapped herself in a cozy, green blanket called a chrysalis. "Goodnight, world," she whispered.

She slept for a long, long time. When she woke up, she felt different. She wiggled and pushed and stretched until her blanket opened. But she wasn't a caterpillar anymore! She had two big, beautiful wings, painted with orange and black spots. She flapped them once, then twice, and floated into the air. "Wow!" she chirped. "I'm a butterfly!"
