Coloring page story

Vroomy was a round, red vacuum cleaner who loved to eat. But Vroomy didn't eat sandwiches or apples. Vroomy loved to eat… crumbs! And dust bunnies! Yum!

VROOOM-WHIZZ! she would sing as she rolled across the floor, gobbling up every little speck.

One day, Tom dropped his little blue building block. Before he could pick it up, Vroomy zoomed by. VROOOM-GULP!

Suddenly, Vroomy stopped singing. She made a funny, rumbly sound. The blue block was too big for her tummy!

"Oh, Vroomy!" said Tom. He gave her a gentle shake. Clunk! He opened her little tummy door, and there was the blue block, safe and sound. Vroomy whirred happily. From then on, she stuck to eating only yummy, tiny crumbs.

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

The round, soft shapes are non-intimidating and appealing to 3-5 year olds. The theme of a machine eating something it shouldn't is a simple, humorous concept they can easily grasp. The large areas of the vacuum's body and the boy's clothes are perfect for their developing coloring skills.

Coloring Page Coloring Instructions

Oh no, Vroomy ate a block! Let's help him feel better. What color is Vroomy today? He's red in the story, but you can make him any color you like! How about a blue Vroomy or a green one? You can also color Tom's clothes and the little block that got stuck. Look at the yummy crumbs on the floor—you can make them all different colors, like little sprinkles!

Coloring Page Printing Tips

Print on standard letter-sized paper (8.5" x 11") at 100% scale to ensure the characters are large and easy for little hands to manage. Using slightly thicker paper will prevent markers from bleeding through and make the final artwork feel more special. A good print will make this cute Machine story come to life.

Recommended Tools

Washable markers are great for filling in the large areas of Vroomy's body with bold color. Colored pencils can be used for smaller details like the dust bunnies and Tom's face. Encourage your child to try holding their tool with a tripod grip, but celebrate any mark-making they do!
