Coloring page story

It was time to practice! But Leo’s giant robot dinosaur, the T-Rex Zord, wouldn't come out of its cave. It just made a low, rumbly sound. GRUMBLE... RUMBLE...

"Come on, T-Rex!" Leo called. "We have to be ready to help!" But the Zord stayed put. Leo felt sad. He couldn't be a brave leader without his best Zord.

The other Rangers gathered. "Maybe it's not grumpy," said Jax, the Green Ranger. "Maybe it's scared."

They looked up. Dark clouds were gathering. BOOM! A loud thunderclap echoed. The T-Rex Zord rumbled again, this time a little shaky.

The Twist: The Zord wasn't grumpy, it was scared of the storm! Leo walked to the cave entrance. "It's okay to be scared," he said softly. "We're here with you." The Rangers all gave the Zord’s big metal foot a friendly pat. PAT, PAT, PAT. Feeling brave with his friends, the T-Rex Zord slowly stomped out of the cave. STOMP!

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

The 'Round & Soft' style makes the giant Zord appear gentle and friendly, preventing any fear for the 3-5 age group. The composition, focusing on the comforting gesture of patting the foot, clearly communicates the theme of empathy. Large, simple shapes of the Zord and Rangers are easy for small hands to color.

Coloring Page Coloring Instructions

Oh no, the big T-Rex Zord is a little scared of the storm! Let's help the Power Rangers make him feel better. You can give the Red Ranger his strong red color. What color will you make the T-Rex? Maybe a happy, brave color! You can color the little cloud dark gray, but let's make the lightning bolt a bright, fun color like yellow or orange so it's not so scary. You are being a great friend by coloring this picture!

Coloring Page Printing Tips

To capture the scale, print this page using the 'fit to page' setting. Using a slightly thicker paper (24 lb or higher) will prevent markers from bleeding through and give a quality feel to your child's Power Rangers artwork. It's a great page to talk about feelings like being scared while coloring.

Recommended Tools

Large, triangular crayons can help with grip development. Washable markers are excellent for making the Rangers' suits pop with vibrant color. You could even use finger paints for the large areas of the Zord for a fun, sensory experience! Always remember to color on a protected surface.
