Coloring page story

The Pink Ranger, Chloe, and the Yellow Ranger, Maya, were practicing with a special Friendship Power Coin. But they both wanted to hold it. "My turn!" said Chloe. "No, my turn!" said Maya. They tugged and pulled until PING!—the coin flew out of their hands and was lost in the tall grass.

Just then, a toy-stealing crab monster appeared! SCUTTLE, SCUTTLE! It was grabbing teddy bears and dolls. The Rangers needed the Friendship Power Coin to activate their Flower Cannon to stop it.

They searched and searched, but they were still cross with each other. "You lost it!" "No, YOU lost it!"

The Twist: They realized they would never find it if they were angry. "I'm sorry," said Chloe. "I'm sorry, too," said Maya. They held hands, and as soon as they did, they looked down. Their friendship made them see clearly, and there was the coin, shining between their feet. Together, they picked it up and powered the cannon.

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

The Chibi style is incredibly appealing to young children (ages 3-5), making the characters look like friendly dolls. The clear, simple emotion of holding hands to show friendship is easy to understand. The large heads and simple bodies provide big, easy-to-fill coloring spaces, which is ideal for developing motor skills.
