The Moon was feeling a little lonely in the sky. All the stars were so far away.
Suddenly, a red sparkle zipped past her nose! Then a blue one! Then a whole bouquet of glittery green shot up. POP! FIZZ! WOW! The sky was full of colors and happy sounds.
A little star twinkled nearby. "What's all this?" asked the Moon.
"It's a surprise party for you!" chirped the star. "The people on Earth are sending you flowers and sparkles and happy party-popper sounds!"
The Moon glowed with happiness. This was the best surprise party ever. Each BOOM was like a cheer just for her.
