Flicker and Glimmer were best pegasus friends. They did everything together. One day, they found the most wonderful thing: a pink cloud that tasted like candy! A Sugar-Cloud!

It was only big enough for one. "I saw it first!" said Flicker. "But I'm hungrier!" said Glimmer.

They stood on opposite sides, frowning. The yummy cloud didn't seem so happy anymore. It started to turn a little bit gray.

Flicker looked at Glimmer’s sad face. Glimmer looked at Glimmer’s pouty lip. It wasn't fun to have a Sugar-Cloud if your best friend was unhappy.

"Glimmer," Flicker said softly, "What if we took turns?" Glimmer’s face brightened. "Or what if we break it in two?"

They used their noses to push the cloud apart. Nudge, nudge. It broke into two perfect halves! They nibbled their pieces together, side-by-side. Nibble, nibble.
