WHOOOOOOSH! A big, grumbly wind blew across the sky. It blew hats off snowmen and kites out of hands. Nimbus the pegasus saw a little girl's red kite get snatched by the wind. WHOOSH! It was flying away!

"I have to save it!" Nimbus declared. His wings beat powerfully. FLAP! FLAP! FLAP! The wind pushed back. GRRRRUMBLE! "You can't get past me!" it howled.

Nimbus flew low. The wind was too strong. He flew high. The wind was too fast. Then, Nimbus had an idea. He wouldn't fly against the wind. He would fly with it! He did a giant loop-the-loop and got behind the wind, riding it like a wave. ZOOOOOM!

He zipped past the grumbly wind, caught the kite's string in his teeth, and flew it gently back down to the little girl.
