Coloring page story

Pip was a little pegasus with big, fluffy wings. But he was scared to fly. "What if I fall?" he whispered to his mom.

His mom nuzzled him. "What if you fly, little one?"

Pip looked at the big, blue sky. He took a deep breath. Sniff, sniff. He wiggled his wings. Wiggle, wiggle. He took a little hop. Boing! His hooves left the ground for just a second! It felt…bouncy!

He tried again. Boing! Boing! This time he flapped his wings. Flap, flap! He went up, up, up! Then… he wobbled! Wobble, wobble! He came down with a soft thump on the grassy hill.

"Oh no!" he sighed. "That was a wonderful wobble!" said his mom. "Let's try one more time, together."

Pip took a big run. His mom ran beside him. "You can do it!" she cheered. RUN, RUN, RUN... JUMP! FLAP, FLAP, FLAP! Pip wasn't wobbling. He was flying! "I'm flying! I'm flying!" he shouted with joy.

Coloring Page Printing Tips

For the best coloring experience, print this line art page on medium-weight paper or cardstock. This prevents markers from bleeding through and gives a sturdy surface for crayon use. Ensure your printer is set to 'black and white' and 'best quality' to make the pegasus outline strokes crisp and clear.

Recommended Tools

Large, chunky crayons are perfect for this age group as they are easy to grip. Washable markers are also a great choice for vibrant colors. Using different tools for the pegasus and the background can create a fun, mixed-media effect. Always supervise use of art supplies.
