"Let's have a picnic!" sang a mermaid named Splash to her best friend, Finn.

They gathered their favourite treats. Splash brought sweet sea-berries that grew on underwater bushes. Finn brought yummy "kelp-cakes," which were soft and green. For a drink, they had fresh bubble-juice, which tickled their noses when they drank it.

They laid out their picnic on a big, flat rock. They nibbled and giggled and shared all their food. A family of seahorses swam by, and they shared a sea-berry with each one. An ocean picnic was the tastiest, bubbliest fun.
