Coloring page story

On the branch of a beautiful holiday celebration tree, one little bell was very quiet. All the other bells would tinkle and jingle in the breeze, but this one made no sound. It was very sad. A kind-hearted elf noticed the quiet bell. He looked closely and saw a tiny piece of fluff was stuck inside its clapper. Using the stiff end of a pretty red ribbon, he gently poked the fluff out. Tinkle! The bell rang out, loud and clear! It was so happy, it jingled its thanks all night long, hoping Santa would hear its special song.

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

The large, single object with a clear, happy emotion is very easy for a 3-5-year-old to understand and connect with. The huge, simple shape of the bell is an excellent canvas for uninhibited coloring.

Coloring Page Coloring Instructions

This little bell is so happy because the elf helped it find its jingle again! Let's make it the happiest-looking bell in the whole wide world. You can color it shiny gold with a yellow crayon, or sparkly silver with a gray one. Maybe it's a rainbow bell! You can color the ribbon the elf is holding red, and the tree branch green or brown. Let's make it sing with color!

Coloring Page Printing Tips

This page prints well on any paper. Because the main object is so large, you could even print it on colored paper (like light blue or yellow) for a different effect, and your child can add details with their crayons or markers.

Recommended Tools

This is a great page for paint! Using watercolor paints or tempera paint sticks (with supervision) would be a fun way to fill the large space of the bell. Crayons and markers are also excellent choices for a classic coloring experience.
