In a sunny garden lived a little rosebud named Rosie. All her brothers and sisters had bloomed into big, beautiful flowers. But Rosie kept her petals shut tight.

The warm sun heard her. "Just a little peek, Rosie," it glowed. The gentle wind heard her. "You are strong," it whistled.

Rosie took a tiny breath and tried. She pushed one petal out. POP! Then another. POP! It was hard, but she kept trying.
