One summer afternoon, the clouds turned a soft grey and it began to rain. But the sun was still peeking out! It was a sun shower.

Puddles the Duckling waddled to the door and watched the raindrops. Pitter-patter, pitter-patter. The rain made a big, shiny puddle right in the middle of the yard.

When the rain stopped, Puddles the Duckling ran right to it. "My own little pond!" he quacked. He wiggled his tail and then—SPLASH!—he jumped right in. He kicked his feet. Splish! He flapped his wings. Sploosh! The water was warm, the sun was bright, and Puddles the Duckling was the happiest duck in the whole wide world.
