Coloring page story
Ollie the little owl had soft, fluffy feathers and big, round eyes. But he had a tiny problem. His hoot was a squeak! When he tried to say "Hoo-Hoo!" like his mama, out came a little "eep-eep!".
"I want a big hoot," he chirped sadly.
Mama Owl hugged him with her wing. "A big hoot will come when it's ready. Just try."
So Ollie tried. He saw a sleepy rabbit. He puffed up his chest and... "eep!". The rabbit just twitched its nose. He saw a fluttery moth. He took a deep breath and... "peep!". The moth just danced around a leaf.
Ollie felt his eyes get watery. He was about to give up when he saw his favorite teddy bear fall from the nest! It was tumbling down, down, down! He had to warn Mama!
He didn't think about being big or small. He just opened his beak and a giant, strong, wonderful sound came out: "HOO-HOO! LOOK OUT!"
Mama swooped down and caught the bear just in time. She looked up at Ollie, her eyes sparkling. "That," she said, "was the biggest, bravest hoot I have ever heard." Ollie puffed out his chest. It wasn't just a big hoot; it was his hoot. And it was perfect.

Recommended Tools
Chunky crayons and washable markers are perfect for little hands. They allow for vibrant color in the large sections of Ollie and the tree. Colored pencils can be used for smaller details like the teddy bear's nose, but encourage using the bigger tools for a fun, stress-free coloring experience.
