Hootie the owl loved the night. He had one big question: "Mama, how can I see so well when the sun is sleeping?"

Suddenly, Hootie heard a tiny cry. A little dormouse had lost its way back to its burrow. "Don't worry!" hooted Hootie. "I'll light the way!" He flew ahead, easily seeing the path in the dark. He led the dormouse right back to its cozy home. Hootie had discovered his secret wasn't just for him—it was for helping others, too.
