Lily loved her peonies. One morning, she saw tiny black ants crawling all over the big, round buds. "Oh no!" she said. "Are the ants eating my flowers?" She leaned in very, very close to watch. What are they doing?
She saw the ants weren't biting the flower. They were walking around, tickling the bud with their antennae. They were licking something sticky off the outside. Then, a bigger, mean-looking bug came near, and the little ants wiggled their antennae and chased it away!
