Prickles the hedgehog was having a very clumsy day. He was looking for berries when he tumbled right into an old, empty honey pot! It slid right down over his head, with his nose and whiskers poking out the bottom.

"Mmph! Hmph!" he grumbled. He couldn't see a thing. He wiggled and wobbled, but the pot was stuck.

He looked like a hedgehog with a big, round hat. Two little field mice saw him and giggled. "You have a funny hat, Prickles!"

"It's not a hat! I'm stuck!" he said.

The mice were very kind. One pushed from the left, and one pushed from the right. POP! The honey pot came right off. Prickles shook his spines and thanked the mice. From then on, he decided to look where he was going.
