Coloring page story

Pip the pony was in his big, green meadow. He was all alone. He felt a little sad. Swish, swish went his tail. A tiny blue bird landed on the fence. "Tweet!" said the bird. She looked sad, too.

"Why are you sad, little bird?" neighed Pip softly. "I'm hungry," chirped the bird. "I see a yummy red apple on that big tree, but I can't reach it."

Pip looked at the apple, high on a branch. Then he looked at the little bird. He walked to the tree and stretchhhhed his long neck. He gently nudged the branch. Plop! The big, red apple fell onto the soft grass.

Unexpected Twist: The bird didn't eat it all. She pecked a tiny piece and pushed the big apple towards Pip. "For you, my new friend," she tweeted. Pip and the bird shared the apple, and they weren't lonely anymore.

Coloring Page Printing Tips

For the best coloring experience with your child, print this line art page on medium-weight paper or cardstock. This prevents markers from bleeding through and provides a sturdy surface for crayons. Ensure your printer is set to 'Black & White' and 'High Quality' to make the pony's outline strokes crisp and clear.

Recommended Tools

Large, chunky crayons are perfect for little hands aged 3-5, as they are easy to grip and hard to break. Washable markers are also a great choice for vibrant colors. Always supervise young children with art supplies and choose non-toxic options. Using different tools on the pony can be a fun way to explore textures!
