Coloring page story
Squeaky was a tiny kitten with soft, orange fur. She lived with a family of playful puppies. The puppies said, "Woof! Woof!" So, Squeaky said, "woof!" too.
When she met other kittens, they said, "Meow!" Squeaky tried. "Woof!" she went. The other kittens giggled. "You're not a real kitten!" they said. Squeaky's ears drooped.
One day, a big, grumpy goose waddled towards the kittens, hissing. Hiss! Hiss! The kittens were scared and tried to meow it away, but the goose didn't care.
Squeaky puffed up her chest and gave her biggest, bravest "WOOF!"
Twist: The grumpy goose had never heard a kitten bark before! He was so surprised that he turned right around and waddled away.
The kittens cheered! "Your bark is so brave!" Squeaky learned that it didn't matter if she meowed or barked. What mattered was that she was brave and a good friend.
(Interactive Sound): Let's make our best kitten-bark! Ready? Woof-meow!
