For Christmas, Pip the Rabbit and Poppy the Squirrel got a joint gift. It was a beautiful, long, stripy scarf. But they each held one end and started to pull. "It's mine!" said Pip. "No, it's mine!" said Poppy.
The wind blew a cold, shivery puff. Brrrr!
Pip had an idea. He shuffled closer to Poppy. Poppy shuffled closer to Pip. They wrapped the long scarf around both of them. They were snuggled up, side-by-side, warm as two toasties in a pocket. They walked together to the Christmas dinner, learning that a gift is much better when you share it.
