Coloring page story
Barnaby Bear had found the best blueberry bush in the whole forest. The berries were fat, round, and so blue they looked like little bits of sky. "All for me!" he rumbled, a happy, greedy sound. Grrrrumph!
He sat down and began to munch. Plop. Plop. Munch. A little rabbit with fluffy ears hopped by. "Oh, Barnaby," she said politely. "Those look delicious! May I have just a few?"
"No!" Barnaby growled, covering the bush with his big paws. "My berries." The rabbit's ears drooped, and she hopped away sadly.
Next came a family of squirrels, chattering excitedly. "A feast! Can we share, Barnaby?" they squeaked.
"No!" he grumbled even louder. "Go away! These are my berries." The squirrels scurried up a tree, disappointed. Barnaby had the whole bush to himself. He ate and ate until his tummy was tight as a drum. But something felt... wrong. The forest was quiet. No one was playing nearby. Eating alone wasn't as much fun as he thought it would be. His happy grrrrumph had turned into a lonely, rumbly grumble in his tummy.
He looked at the half-eaten bush. Then he looked at the sad little rabbit and the quiet squirrels. He picked a big pawful of the best berries and waddled over to them. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, his voice much softer now. "My tummy feels grumbly when my friends are sad. Would you... would you like to share my berries?"
The rabbit's ears perked up. The squirrels chattered with glee! They all sat together, sharing the blueberries. The sun felt warmer, the berries tasted sweeter, and Barnaby Bear’s grumbly tummy was finally filled with happiness.

Coloring Page Printing Tips
To best capture the friendly feel of this animal scene, print on smooth, white paper. This will make the black lines stand out and provide a great surface for crayons or colored pencils. Printing in 'draft' mode can save ink for practice runs, but use 'best' quality for the final coloring page.
Recommended Tools
Washable markers will make the blueberries and animal friends pop with color. For a softer look, colored pencils are great, and they help children practice a finer grip. Always supervise young children with art supplies, and choose non-toxic options.
