Coloring page story

Pipo the panda was walking through the forest. Plod, plod, plod. He saw a little red flower. But the flower was not standing up tall and happy. It was droopy and sad, its head bent low. "Oh, little flower," whispered Pipo. "Why are you so droopy?"

The little flower couldn't talk, but Pipo saw the ground around it was dry and dusty.

Plot Twist: Pipo thought the flower was sleepy, but then he realized it was thirsty!

"You need a drink!" he said. Pipo found a big, green leaf. He waddled to the nearby stream, splash, splish, and scooped up some cool water. He carefully carried the watery leaf back to the flower and gently tipped it. Drip, drop, drip. The little flower drank the water.

Slowly, the flower began to stand up tall. Its red petals looked bright and happy in the sun.

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

This design is ideal for ages 3-5. The large, rounded shapes with thick outlines are easy for small hands to color within. The simple, positive theme of helping a flower is easily understood and promotes empathy. There are no tiny details, reducing frustration and building coloring confidence with the friendly Panda.

Coloring Page Coloring Instructions

Hello, little artist! Look at our kind friend Pipo helping the flower. You can make Pipo's leaf a bright green. What color will you make the happy flower? Maybe a sunny yellow or a pretty pink? The big drops of water can be a lovely blue. Remember to color Pipo with his special black and white patches, but you can give him rosy cheeks to show he's happy!

Coloring Page Printing Tips

For the best coloring experience, print this page on medium-weight paper or cardstock. This prevents markers from bleeding through and is sturdy enough for crayons. Use your printer's 'Best' or 'High Quality' setting to make the black lines crisp and clear, which will really make your Panda illustration pop!

Recommended Tools

Chunky crayons or large, washable markers are perfect for this age group as they are easy to grip. Colored pencils are great for little artists who are developing finer control. Always make sure the tools are non-toxic and supervise to ensure caps are replaced on markers.
