Petunia the Groundhog wasn't sleepy at all. She was bouncy! She had been doing somersaults in her burrow all morning, waiting for the big day. When it was time, she didn't crawl out—she hopped!

She looked around. The sky was covered in a soft, grey blanket of clouds. She looked down. No shadow! She looked over at a patch of melting snow. A little puddle was forming. Plink. Plonk.
