Coloring page story

For the last day of International Clown Week, the clowns wanted to give a gift to the whole town. But what could it be? A cake? A song?

Pip looked at all the wonderful, silly things they had done. They had found honks in their bellies, painted with pudding, and made friends with a bubble. "I know," he said. "The best gift is one you can keep forever."

They gathered in the town square. They didn't bring anything with them. They just started to imagine. "I'm giving you a fluffy-cloud pillow!" said Pip. "I'm giving you a song that sounds like jingle-bells!" said Lulu. "I'm giving you a pocketful of sunshine!" said Giggles. (Interactive prompt: "What amazing, imaginary gift would you like to give? Close your eyes and think of one!")

The Twist: The gift wasn't something you could hold. The gift was imagination itself. The clowns taught everyone in Giggleburg that the best toys and biggest adventures are the ones you create in your very own mind. And that is a gift that never, ever runs out.

Coloring page Age Appropriateness

This design is excellent for a calming activity for 3-5 year olds. The abstract concept of 'imagination' is made concrete and accessible through the simple icons of the cloud, bells, and sun. The peaceful expressions and static poses are easy for children to interpret and color, making it a great wind-down activity.

Coloring Page Coloring Instructions

The clowns are giving the best gifts of all—imaginary ones! Let's close our eyes and imagine, too. What color is a fluffy-cloud pillow? Can we make the jingle bells shiny and bright? And let's give the sun the warmest, happiest yellow you have. This is a picture all about your amazing imagination, so any color you choose is perfect!

Coloring Page Printing Tips
