Coloring page story
Every evening, Grandma Elara would take all the young elephants to the Story Tree. It was the oldest tree in the savanna, with a trunk wide enough for five elephants to hug.
"This tree remembers everything," Grandma Elara would rumble softly. "It remembers the great rain, the long sun, and it remembers our family."
Little Nia tugged on her grandma's ear. "Tell us a story, Grandma."
Grandma Elara smiled. "The tree and I will tell you one together. It remembers the story of your great-great-grandfather, who found this very spot by following the North Star." She pointed her trunk to the sky. "He knew that if you followed that one shiny star, you would always find your way home."
Twist: Nia thought the stories were just fun tales. But one day, while chasing a grasshopper, she wandered too far. As it got dark, she felt scared. Then she looked up and saw it—one very shiny star. She remembered Grandma's story. She followed the star, and stomp, stomp, stomp, it led her right back to the warm, safe hug of her family. The story wasn't just a story; it was a map.
Coloring page Age Appropriateness
The 'Cozy Tone Cartoon' style and simple composition are ideal for the 3-5 age group. The theme of a loving grandparent and child is universally comforting. The large, uncluttered shapes of the elephants and the tree are easy to color, while the stars provide small, rewarding details. It’s a perfect quiet-time or bedtime coloring activity.
