But one windy day, whoosh! a big gust of wind blew one of her petals away. It floated up, up, up into the sky.

"Oh no!" cried Daisy. "I only have nine petals! I'm not a perfect daisy anymore."

A little ladybug crawling up her stem heard her. "Silly Daisy," chirped the ladybug. "You are still bright and cheerful. You still have your sunny middle and nine lovely petals to dance in the breeze. You are perfect just the way you are." Daisy thought about it, and she smiled. The ladybug was right.
