Zelda was not an ordinary zebra. When she was happy, her stripes sparkled like starlight. When she was sad, they turned a soft, rainy-day blue. Today, Zelda was feeling extra creative. She looked at a boring grey rock. "I think you should be a rainbow rock," she declared.
She swished her tail, swish, swish, and one of her black stripes wiggled off her body! It floated in the air like a ribbon. Zelda grabbed it and painted the rock with a perfect black stripe. Then she imagined the color red, and her stripe glowed red! She painted a red line. Then orange, then yellow! Whoosh, zap, pop! She painted a whole rainbow on the rock using her magical stripe.
A little mouse came by. "I'm scared to cross the big puddle!" he squeaked. Zelda smiled. She took her magical stripe and laid it across the water. It became a sturdy, bouncy bridge! Boing, boing! The mouse scampered safely across.
