Coloring page story
Zola was a little zebra with a little problem. All her stripes went straight up and down, zip, zap, zoom! All except one. On her back was a wobbly, wiggly stripe. "Oh," sighed Zola. "My stripe is all wrong." She tried to hide it by standing behind a tall, wobbly flower.
One day, the whole herd went to the big waterhole. Splash, sploosh, play! There were so many zebras! When it was time to go home, Zola couldn't find her mommy. All the stripes looked the same. Zip, zap, zoom! Zola felt a little scared.
Suddenly, she heard a voice, "There you are, my little Zola!" It was Mommy! "How did you find me?" Zola asked. Mommy nuzzled her. "I looked for my favorite stripe in the whole world," she said, gently tracing the wobbly, wiggly line on Zola's back. "It's the most special stripe on the savanna because it belongs only to you."
Twist: Zola's perceived flaw was actually her most unique and helpful feature. From that day on, Zola loved her wobbly stripe. It was her very own.
