"I don't need help," he mumbled. But secretly, he did. He couldn't reach the high branches to hang the glowing moon-vines. He tried to climb a small rock, but his short legs wobbled, and he slid off with a thump. He felt even grumpier now, and a little bit embarrassed. Velo saw the whole thing. Instead of laughing, she zipped up the tree trunk in a flash. "How about I hang them if you tell me where they go?" she asked cheerfully. Gus looked at the tangled vines, then at the helpful little dinosaur. His grumpiness started to melt away like morning mist. "Okay," he said, and a small smile appeared on his face. They worked together, Gus pointing with his snout and Velo zipping and tying. Soon, the stage was glowing beautifully. Gus learned that sharing a problem can make a grumpy day feel much, much better.
