Coloring page story
Lily loved Christmas Eve. Tucked in her bed, she listened for the pitter-patter of reindeer hooves. But tonight, she heard something different. A tiny, sparkly jingle-jingle-tinkle from her garden. Curiosity pulling her like a string, she tiptoed downstairs and peeked out the back door. There, on a snow-dusted rosebush, was a single, silver bell, glowing softly.
As she reached for it, a mighty WHOOSH of wind swirled around her! It wasn't a normal wind; it smelled of peppermint and pine needles. It lifted her, pajamas and all, up, up, up into the starry sky, like a dandelion seed. She wasn't scared, just… surprised! She floated in a bubble of golden light, past the moon and towards the brightest star of all.
She landed gently, poof, in a pile of snow as soft as a pillow. All around her were tiny, colourful houses with frosting on the roofs. A huge workshop buzzed with a low hum, and the air fizzed with magic. A large man with a beard as white as the snow and a belly that jiggled like a bowl of jelly rushed towards her.
“Oh, my whiskers!” he boomed, his voice warm and kind. “The sleigh’s magic wash must have swept you up! Welcome to the North Pole, little one.”
Lily’s eyes grew wide. “You’re… you’re Santa Claus!”
Santa knelt. “The one and only. But I’m afraid you’ve arrived at a rather difficult time.” Just then, a tiny elf sneezed. It wasn't a normal sneeze. It was an “Ah-ah-Glitter-CHOO!” and a puff of sparkly purple dust filled the air. Christmas was in trouble, and Lily had just landed right in the middle of it.

Coloring Page Printing Tips
For best results, print this page on standard letter-sized paper (like A4 or 8.5x11"). If you're using markers, consider a slightly thicker paper, like cardstock, to prevent bleed-through. Make sure your printer is set to 'black and white' and 'fit to page' for a perfect print.
Recommended Tools
Large, chunky crayons are wonderful for this age, as they are easy to grip. Washable markers are also a great, vibrant choice. Always make sure an adult is nearby, and remember to put the caps back on your markers so they don't dry out!
