Coloring page story
The Star-Hopper hummed a happy tune as it floated past sparkly purple nebulas. Inside, Velo the Velociraptor’s tummy rumbled. RUMBLE-GRUMBLE!
“I’m hungry!” he chirped, zipping over to the snack cupboard. “Time for my Comet-Crunchies!” He opened the door. It was empty. His little face fell. “Oh no! They’re gone!”
Rex, the captain, stood tall. “A mystery! Don’t worry, Velo. We will find your snacks!”
Tripsy put on her thinking cap—it was an imaginary one, but it helped her think. “Let’s look everywhere,” she said softly.
They looked under the pilot’s seat. Whoosh! A cloud of sleepy stardust tickled Rex’s nose. Achoo! But no Comet-Crunchies. They looked behind the big, squishy space-beanbags. They found one of Bron’s lost slippers and a crayon, but no Comet-Crunchies. Velo’s speedy feet started to slow down. A tiny tear welled in his eye.
Just then, Bron the Brachiosaurus, who had been quietly looking out the window, gave a very loud, very surprising… BURP!
Out of his mouth popped the bright yellow box of Comet-Crunchies! It was a little slobbery, but it was safe.
“Bron!” cried Rex.
Bron’s cheeks turned a little pink. “Oops,” he said in his deep, gentle voice. “I was holding them for Velo and I gave a big yawn.”
Velo didn't get mad. He was so happy! He zipped over and gave Bron a hug. “Thank you for finding them!” He opened the box. CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH. He even shared one with Bron. It was a little soggy, but Bron said it was the best Comet-Crunchy he’d ever had.

Coloring Page Printing Tips
For best results, print this page on standard letter-sized paper (8.5" x 11"). If you plan to use markers, consider a slightly thicker paper like cardstock to prevent bleed-through. Always use the 'black and white' or 'grayscale' setting on your printer to ensure clean, crisp lines.
Recommended Tools
